Date: 1/067 In a Weekend Review video dated 1-19-24 on Rumble, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Pete Chambers reminds us of The Travis Letter, from the year 1836, addressed “To the People of Texas and All Americans in the World”. In the letter, William B. Travis makes a plea for aid at the Alamo garrison saying, “...I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch...” The letter closes with three words: “Victory or Death”. https://www.thealamo.org/remember/battle-and-revolution/travis-letter Chambers opened with his own version of the letter, “ ‘Fellow citizens and compatriots’, ...It’s appropriate that I write that today and end with ‘we will do everything that is due to our honor and that of our country. Come to our aid with all dispatch’...the point of it is, that’s the moment that we’re in right now.” https://rumble.com/v484yy0-tobb-convoy-weekend-review-1.19.24.html Chambers is stationed at Eagle Pass, the most heavily trafficked area of the border between Mexico and Texas. He describes it as an “overwhelming surge that is not humanitarian whatsoever.” The Texas military department is posted up a Shelby Park. “I speak to the commander every single day,” said Chambers, emphasizing that Customs & Border Patrol and ICE, who manage the actual points of entry, are NOT in conflict with the Texas military department. “What we’re dealing with is a cold war between the State of Texas and the federal government. That’s Mayorkas. That’s his folks down on the DHS side. The Department of Homeland Security owns [Customs & Border Patrol and ICE]. And the Department of Homeland Security also has the Department of Justice behind them which is where we see these lawsuits going on.” The courts demanded that the Texas military vacate the area by January 18. It didn’t happen. “But the thing that trumps everything, aside from God, is sovereignty. The Constitution of the State of Texas, the Republic of Texas as I like to call it, is supreme. The county, the Sheriffs, they are supreme. They have what is called the Doctrine of Lesser Magistrates. They call the shots. If they are Constitutional and typical people with discernment that have faith who know that the original Constitutions were based upon biblical principles that were tried and true, that believe in, like Daniel in the Lion’s Den, interposing for the people of Israel, that they can interpose, that they can stand in the gap. That’s what Sheriffs do. That’s what I do when I’m a soldier.” Chambers described how 12,500 immigrants will cross the border in a particular place all at once, sometimes in a span of five or eight hours. That keeps Border Patrol busy while terrorists, drug traffickers and child traffickers do an end around, entering the U.S. at different spots, unnoticed. Chambers and his people assist local law enforcement in finding the traffickers and assisting people who are being used as pawns in terrorist operations. “A lot of things that we see are optics.” Chambers urges everyone to learn to discern optics from reality. “Sometimes we have to share things with the media and then it gets changed because it’s embarrassing.” When asked for a word of advice for people planning to participate in Take Our Border Back rallies, Chambers said: “The truest virtue of a soldier is love. And so when you look at people, the first words out of my mouth when I speak in public is, ‘I-love-you.’ ...when I do that, that is when the love comes through and that is the truest virtue of a warrior. It took me a long time to figure that out.“ Information about the Take Our Border Back convoy and rallies may be found at: https://takeourborderback.com/ Comments are closed.
